Albino Llama: Llamas are awesome! (85)
My Bio
My name's Laura Brown-Ojeda, but I prefer to be called by my nickname Lali.

I studied Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute and I specialize in Character Design,2D animation, and Illustration! That being said I was taught 3D modeling and animation. I haven't worked in the animation industry as of yet but I'm working my way into the field. I graduated with my Bachelors in December 17, 2012.

As of yet, I'm focusing in getting into freelancing and commissions as a full time gig, at least until I can get into a studio. I can draw and animate in many different styles but as most artist, I do have a style that is all my own. What is my style? Well that's a little hard to describe but here it goes nothing!

My style is celebrating all the different and unique things that make us all special, beautiful even. Race, color, body type, fashion, all those crazy shapes and sizes of our features that make us who we are. I try my best to celebrate everything through my character designs and interpretation of characters that aren't mine. I mean, if Marik from Yugioh is suppose to be Egyptian, then he should look Egyptian (not look like everyone else but darker.) That's my thing, that's my style.

Also I'm more of a sketch artist then a painter, I envy those who can paint gorgeous things digitally and traditionally, I've never really grasped that ability but I'm still practicing. My poison of choice is Photoshop, I do the best I can with it!

I'm also working on a comic series that I hope catches on called Kinesis. I'll be selling it at indyplanet.com and at various conventions, hopefully the first issue will be done by November but realistically speaking, it wont be until Winter 2014 or Spring 2014.

Not sure what else to add…I'm Puerto Rican, a girl, a little gothic, a little not, I love Rock music, fantasy genre things and Tea...

That's right everyone! I have relaunched the kickstarter. There are new rewards and new information and there's no risk! The comic is pretty much done and ready for print. I just need your help! Follow the link below and be one of the helping hands in making Issue 1 of Kinesis: The Assailants a reality! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1849791278/kinesis-issue-1 The series is full of different ethnicity, culture, points of view and really a lot about people we don't always see in comics. Everyone is different, everyone is unique and everyone needs a voice. I've worked hard developing the characters for you all to love and connect with!

Yup it's been a whole year of doing conventions and I'm finally back where it all began! The Baltimore Comic Con!! Before Con True to all my car trouble havings, I had to use my mother's car to go to Baltimore Comic Con. I blew my head gasket and it's currently at the Mechanic getting fixed. But aside from my usual car troubles everything was alright. I was upset I couldn't have Issue 1 of Kinesis: The Assailants ready for this convention but this convention went really well. I mean I had two friends John Salvino ~johnsalvino (https://www.deviantart.com/johnsalvino) and Sarah Poet :iconatomickittenstudios: were vending there. I also had my best friend Denisha Conyers :iconla
